Privacy Policy
propfirms.now is an independent quantitative scoring engine for proprietary trading firms. We do not provide brokerage services, accept deposits, or fund traders. We earn money by referring visitors to prop firms via affiliate links. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Who runs this site
propfirms.now is operated by Matteo Scaglione. For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@propfirmito.com.
What we collect
- Anonymous traffic data (pages viewed, referrer, country, device type, browser) via server-side logs.
- Cookie-consent state stored locally by CookieAdmin Pro so we remember what you allowed.
- Click-through events when you click an affiliate link or discount code, so we can attribute referrals.
- Voluntary input if you contact us by email (your email address and the content of the message).
We do not collect names, postal addresses, passwords, payment data, or government identifiers. We do not require user accounts.
What we don't collect
- We do not run any third-party advertising network on this site (no Google Ads, no Meta Pixel).
- We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with brokers, data resellers, or marketing networks.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Cookies
This site uses two categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary — cache headers, security tokens, your cookie-consent choice. Always active.
- Analytics — anonymous traffic aggregation. Active only after consent via the cookie banner.
You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the "Cookie preferences" link in the cookie banner.
Third parties
When you click an affiliate link to a prop firm, that firm's site sets its own cookies and collects its own data under its own privacy policy. We have no control over what each prop firm collects after the click. Always read the destination site's privacy policy before signing up.
Data retention
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days then purged. Click-through attribution records are retained for the lifetime of the affiliate relationship for accounting purposes. Email correspondence is retained until the conversation is closed plus 90 days.
Your rights (GDPR + CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you.
- Request a copy of that data.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Withdraw cookie consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Because we collect almost no personal data, most requests are simple. To exercise any right, email admin@propfirmito.com with the subject "Privacy request" and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is for adults considering prop-firm evaluations. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes are also announced in the site footer for 30 days after the change.
